SAC Wildhorn
The section Wildhorn of the Swiss Alpine Club is at home in the beautiful valleys Simmental and Diemtigtal, the region from the Niesen to the Wildhorn. Our section was founded in 1920 an counts about 500 members (including 47 members of the youth organization).
Our varied annual program offers hikes, climbing-, high-altitude-, ski- and also senior citizens tours. Children and young people aged from 6 to 22 years are organized in the youth organization (YO/JO) of our section, where they can join special offers.
One of our most important objectives is to rescue missing and injured persons in our catchment area.
And of course we don't miss the cosy hours in our two huts.
